We at FBC enjoyed a very different and unusual time of fellowship at our Christmas party. We ate (what Baptists do quite well) a “Po Folks” dinner with a bean supper. It was fun to play a “White Elephant Gift” game, using gag gifts. But, our hearts were stirred by the spiritual food! Dr. J. Haywood Alcorn preached a powerful message on the birth of Christ. The season is always blessed by family, gift giving, decorations, traditional song, etc., but “the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ” (Romans 6:23Romans 6:23 --More--
